While the Hilton Garden Inn provided a clean and comfortable atmosphere, I was disheartened to find several maintenance issues during my visit. The staff was mostly pleasant, and the good location made it easy to explore the area, but I felt the need for some improvements in upkeep and service.

great access to eateries and parks for the weekend adventurer
Staying here was a pleasure, as it was super close to various restaurants and beautiful parks, making our walks incredibly enjoyable with convenient dining options like Mac's Speed Shop just a short stroll away. the friendly staff also made us feel right at home during our visit, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the hotel had a lovely vibe, but the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey for what you got.

missingWrote a review on Jun 07poor lighting
The overall experience could use some serious improvement, starting with lighting. Most of the room’s illumination comes from windows, making it dim in the evenings without enough lamps or overhead lights. Parking can definitely test your patience, especially during busy times, as the garage fills up quickly. Also, if you were hoping for access to a spa or a usable pool, be ready for disappointment as they both were out of service during my stay.

I had a great stay at Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley! The room was spacious and came with a microwave and a refrigerator, which made it super convenient. I especially loved the comfortable bed which made my nights restful. The location is fantastic, close to multiple restaurants and shops.
The breakfast options were limited and on the pricier side.

Charlotte's food scene is on fire! I hit up Jaz-Jan the Sweet Joint for some bomb desserts, and the Corner Bar had killer cocktails. The hotel bar's vibe is welcoming too, though it could use some better menu options. The pool’s nice for a splash, but I was on the hunt for local flavors.
The breakfast buffet at $15 was steep for mediocre grub—and don’t even get me started on the $15 omelet charge! Add in the $5 daily Wi-Fi fee, and I’m feeling a bit of a pinch. The amenities looked like they needed some serious TLC.

Visiting the area for a weekend basketball tournament was the main reason for our stay. The hotel had a great pool that the kids loved, and the location made it easy to grab dinner at nearby restaurants. However, we did experience some issues with the automatic doors not working and the shortage of towels. Overall, it was decent, but some maintenance could be improved.
